If you've ever read one or two rave reviews of a new album, bought the CD, and been horribly disappointed then Any Decent Music is the site for you.
Any Decent Music is not an automated aggregator which sweeps up everything and anything in a random format. The site is staffed by music lovers who manually review, select and edit all the content. Charts are created by taking an average score of all reviews for an album - meaning that you're seeing a balanced review score taking in to consideration all the reviews for an album, good or bad.
Using Umbraco as our base CMS, we created custom areas where Any Decent Music could manage all their album, artist and review data in once place. To streamline processes the site is heavily integrated with RSS feeds and webservices from companies such as Amazon, 7Digital and Q.
All this results in a website where you can see all reviews from an album, listen to and download tracks and watch music videos.
